Let us cultivate peace

These days I am very shocked by the daily news in our world.
Again and again I am shaken to the core.

There is one part of me that can' t comprehend all of this.
*
The other part clearly understands all of it.
*
Are we really ready for peace?
*
Or is "being right" more important?
*
Or having "more"... to be "better" than... to be "more important" than others...
But what is the consequence?
Disconnection... Separation... War!
Deep inside, we all desire peace.
Deep inside we are so close to each other.
Deep inside we all carry our wounds.
*
What if we acknowledge that?
*
What if we also acknowledge the hurts of others?
*
That is when true compassion can arise.
*
Love…
…for ourselves.
…for others.
*
Connectedness.
*
Closeness.
*
Unity.
*
Peace.
